Helicopter Services for Badrinath Dham

Badrinath Helicopter Yatra

Every year helicopter services are operated from Kedarnath and Hemkund but for the first time, heli services for Badrinath are going to start from 12th May which is a great initiative by the Government and Civil Aviation Department. The initiative was taken by Chief Executive Officer C. Ravi Shankar of the Civil Aviation Department by obtaining permission from the Badri-Kedar Temple Committee and Gurudwara Hemkund Sahib Trust. The Badrinath Yatra by Helicopter will be a great benefit for people with medical issues as the route is quite challenging for the Yatra and devotees can also start arranging for the important documents to carry along.

For the Badrinath Dham Yatra, helicopter online booking has not started yet but is expected to start soon. For the last few months, the Civil Aviation Department has been preparing safety rules and regulations which will provide benefits to people booking for Badrinath Helicopter tours. The helicopter service operation will be available for three hours a day and the ride will start from Gauchar to Badrinath Temple.
