Monal Tourist Home (MTH) provides you all to make your stay comfortable. It is a quiet family run guest house which is situated in peaceful surroundings and yet is within a comfortable walking distance from the town of Uttarkashi if you want to stroll into the town and look around. If you are not in the mood for walking, then there is always a shared taxi passing on the Gangotri road that will take you to town.
It is a well run and very clean establishment. The property consists of a double storey building with two separate wings (Wings A and Wing B) and a neat, well kept and sunny garden where you can relax. The upper storey of the house has a verandah that overlooks the garden and surrounding fields where you can sit and watch the locals going about their daily business.
