Chardham tour with Holy dip in Haridwar Kumbh
Day 01: Delhi - Haridwar (294 mts/965 ft) 214 Kms 5-6 hrs drive.
Morning after breakfast drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival at Haridwar check in at the hotel. In the evening, If possible we will take you to Har-ki-Peri, to witness the famous Aarti of holy Ganges. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Haridwar:. Haridwar located in the foothills of the Himalayas, represents the point where the Ganges reaches the plains. Haridwar is an ancient pilgrimage site, held in reverence for centuries. The Chinese pilgrim Hyuen Tsang who visited India in the first millennium CE, describes Haridwar as Mayura, on the eastern banks of the Ganges. Several temples and ashrams dot this town and a visit to Haridwar is like stepping into a totally different world.Legend has it that Bhagirathi brought the Ganges into theearth and into this point where his ancestors were burnt to ashes by the curse of the sage Kapila. Kapilastaan, a spot in Haridwar is pointed to as Kapila's hermitage. Haridwar was once known as Gangadwara.
Day 02: Haridwar
Early morning we will take you to the main Ghat for holy Bath on that particular auspicious day. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 03: Haridwar - Barkot (205 Kms 5 - 6 hrs)
Depart from Haridwar early morning and stop for lunch on the way in Mussoorie. Continue your journey and reach Barkot in the evening, after visiting Kempty Falls on the way. on arrival check in to the Hotel, just 1 km out of Barkot town on the Yamunotri Road, Dinner and overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (32 Kms. Drive + 10 kms. Local Taxi + 6 Kms. Trek, one way)
After an early breakfast drive to Hanuman Chatti, Arrive Hanuman Chatti Take a Local Jeep to Janki Chatti, then start your trek by 06 kms. to Sri Yamunotri Ji, Arrive Sri Yamunotri Ji and take a Holy Dip in Garm Kund Pooja and Darshan of Sri Yamuna Ji, after lunch 06 Kms. trek down to Janki Chatti, arrive Janki Chatti take the Local taxi for Hanuman Chatti, On arrival Meet our Driver and drive back to Barkot, Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 05: Barkot - Uttarkashi (Drive 85 kms, 4 hrs)
Chardham YatraAfter a relaxed breakfast, leave for Uttarkashi, a drive of 85 kms. Enroute vist Prakateshwar Cave, on arrival Uttarkashi check in at the hotel evening visit Vishwnath Temple, Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 06: Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100 Kms. one way)
Early morning drive to Gangotri and on arrival take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. Perform Pooja after that and relax for some time in the lovely surroundings, afternoon drive to Uttarkashi, on arrival check into the Hotel.
Day 07: Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (223 kms. Drive 9 - 10 hrs)
Chardham YatraAfter a Very early breakfast, leave for Guptkashi. A late lunch is scheduled en route Molgarh. On the way, see the heritage city of Tehri slowly sinking into the mighty waters of the Holy River Ganges, due to the construction of the Tehri Dam. After lunch, continue your journey and today for the first time see the beautiful river Mandakini. Travel alongside the river to reach Guptakashi late in the evening, O/N stay at Hotel.
Day 08: Guptakashi - Kedarnath (32 kms Drive, 14 kms trek)
Chardham YatraAfter breakfast pick up your packed lunch, and leave for Gaurikund (32 kms drive-one way). On arrival start your journey on the tough Trek ahead. Stop for lunch en route and continue after that to arrive by late afternoon on arrival check in to the Tourist Bunglow/ Parmarth Ashram. After freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the temple.Dinner and overnight at the Ashram or Tourist Bunglow.
Day 09: Kedarnath - Rudraprayag (14 Kms trek 80 kms Drive)
After breakfast start you journey back to Gaurikund and on arrival leave for Rudraprayag, on arrival check in at hotel O/N stay at Hotel.
Day 10: Rudraprayag - Badrinath (170 kms)
Chardham YatraAfter breakfast leave for Shri Badrinath Ji. On arrival take the holy Darshan and spend time visiting Mana village -the last village before the Tibetan border, Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Badrinath - Rudraprayag (160 kms)
Morning after Arti Darshan drive to Rudraprayag, on arrival check in at the hotel, Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12: Rudraprayag - Rishikesh (135 Kms 7 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Rishikesh enroute visit Dhari Devi Temple, only 15 Kms. from Rudrapryag on the way of Rishikesh, after visit the temple drive towards Rishikesh, on the way stop for lunch at Srinagar, Continue the journey and if Time permits, visit Devprayag (The confluence of rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi, which become the Ganga). Reach Rishikesh in the evening to check in to Hotel. Evening visit Laxamn Jhula and Ram Jhula and see the evening Arati, Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13: Rishikesh - Delhi (234 km)
Morning after breakfast drive to Delhi, on arrival at Delhi check in at a hotel , O/N stay at hotel.
