An auspicious trip to Badrinath Kedarnath Dham

India, the most spiritual place in the world, where it’s being believed that the holy “darshan” to Chardham including “Badri-Kedar Yatra”, will emancipate you from all your sins. This is the reason why many people all across the world make a holy trip to Uttarakhand state at the grand peaks of Himalayas.

The journey to Badri-Kedarnath Dham begins from Haridwar which is about 210 km from Delhi and is regarded as the first gateway to Uttarakhand to visit the shrines of Kedarnath and Badrinath.

The Kedarnath Dham is believed to be the favorite destination of Lord Shiva at snow peaked Rudra Himalaya. The basic form of the almighty in the form of one of the 12 Jyotirlingas is found here. According to Hindu mythology, in Dwapar Yuga, Pandavas meditated Lord Shiva since they were accused of “Gotra Hatya” when they killed their clan, the Kauravas; and get relieved from this sin. Since then, people make a visit to this auspicious Dham to seek salvation and “Mukti” from all their sins and receive blessings from Lord Shiva.

On the way to Kedarnath, pilgrims may also visit the place Devprayag, where one can find the union of two holy rivers Alaknanada and Mandakini and forms the most pious river, “The Ganges”. After that a trip to Guptakashi will be a mesmerizing event to have the glimpse of “Vishwanath Temple” where both the streams of Ganga and Yamuna can be found. A visit to Gaurikund temple which is 14 km away from Kedarnath temple is also significant. The holy trip to Kedarnath temple from Delhi covers 450 km and 14 km trek and people from all across the world make this remarkable trekking of 14 km to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva.

to a legend, Lord Vishnu meditated for 1000 years for the welfare and unity of mankind below the grand tree of Badri (berry tree) and so the place is known as Badri-Narayan. It is located amidst the Nar-Narayan Mountains at an altitude of 1579 m. A pilgrim can find vivid images of Lord Vishnu that reflect the message of “Vashudhev Kutmbakam” for the sake of mankind and humanity. A holy dip to “Gaurikund” and “Agnikund” will wash away all the sins of the pilgrims and people feel like their mind and body will be purified at such great “Tapt-Kund”.

Visit both Kedarnath and Badrinath dham to learn and earn spirituality and attain redemption at the holy valleys of ‘The Himalayas’.
